I have little info on this English Barometer.
I do know it’s English.
I was able to date it by the thermometer. From what I have researched thermometers used ‘Blood Heat’ in the early 1900’s. I may stand corrected if anyone has better information?
Oak case, porcelain dial and mercury thermometer.
It may not make sense to collect barometers as well as clocks. To be honest, we really know very little about them. But with the lovely wooden cases and the impressive porcelain dials, it makes sense that those who love clocks externally would love these as well.
I can never seem to read them correctly, though. That’s another post altogether!
